Green Acres Animal Rescue, located in Saint Augusta, MN, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded in February 2020. We believe that animals, much like children, rely on their caregivers for food, shelter, medical care, a warm place to sleep, and opportunities to play. While animals may not speak, their behavior and actions reveal their emotions. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for abandoned, neglected, abused, elderly animals, and those affected by disasters or temporary crises, ensuring they receive the care they need and, hopefully, find their "FUR-EVER home."

We recognize that every instance of animal aggression or illness has an underlying cause. We're committed to working with these animals, offering the necessary care and training to help them lead happy and fulfilling lives. Before adoption, all of our pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and provided with any required testing and medication, ensuring they’re ready to join their new families.
